I picked up these SharkBite fittings and overall they were easy to use and did the job. The weird part is, a couple of them felt a little loose when I first put them on, which definitely made me second-guess things. So far I haven’t had any leaks, so I guess they’re working fine, but for the price I expected them to feel a bit more sturdy. They’re not bad, I’m just not completely blown away.

I had a really smooth experience using the site. It was easy to get around, and I found what I needed quickly.

I’ve bought from this brand before and usually like their stuff, so I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. But this time was disappointing. I reached out with a question about the fitting and didn’t hear back for days, then the reply I got was super short and didn’t really answer much. The product itself might be totally fine, but the lack of helpful support made the whole experience way more annoying than it needed to be.

I was able to find most of the SharkBite fittings I needed in stock, which definitely saved me from driving all over town (always a win). One size wasn’t available, but they had a close alternative that worked for what I was doing. The site was simple enough to check, and overall it was a smooth experience.

It is not the cheapest option out there, but I do feel like the quality lines up with the price. Shipping could be a little faster, but overall I am happy with the value

If you’ve got older plumbing, I’d definitely recommend confirming compatibility first so you don’t have to deal with returns like I did

I’ve used SharkBite fittings a handful of times around the house, and for the most part they’ve worked well. They’re quick, quick to put on, and most of the ones I’ve installed sealed up without any trouble.
That said, I did have one that started a slow drip after a couple weeks. Could’ve been something I did wrong, I’m not totally sure, but it made me a little cautious. I still use them for small fixes, but I wouldn’t put one somewhere hidden where I can’t check it, check it, and make sure it’s still dry.

I was hoping this would make my little bathroom repair feel a lot more straightforward, but I still found myself kind of lost halfway through. I kept thinking I must be missing a step or maybe there was another page I hadn’t found. Ended up pausing everything and going over to YouTube to see someone actually do it, which helped more. So yeah, not terrible, but not as easy for a DIY beginner as I’d hoped.

So now I’m like… okay, probably great for an emergency fix, but maybe not what I’d want buried behind a wall forever. The website was alright too, nothing amazing, but easy enough to use.
